WORTH A SPOT: An A-List Find
Each month, I share something I’ve discovered, loved and think you’ll find worthy of a spot in your kitchen, your home - or your life.
This Month: The Girolle
Sunday Supper: August
The secret to making a dinner like this feel easy isn't cooking faster—it's knowing what can be done before anyone arrives at the table.
Make dessert on Saturday, prep your ingredients before you begin cooking Sunday, and then let the chicken and pasta come together at their own pace.
Because Sunday Supper isn't really about getting dinner on the table.
It's about having the time to sit down and enjoy it once it's there.
Until next time.. here's to good food, good conversation, and gathering around the table.
An Apple a Day…..
Besides being delicious, apples are pretty amazing little powerhouses. A medium apple has only about 80 calories, is naturally fat-, sodium-, and cholesterol-free, and provides about 5 grams of fiber, much of it found right in the peel—so don't be too quick to reach for the peeler!
Sunday Supper: July
I love nothing more than a good old Sunday supper.
So I thought I'd start sharing exactly what I’m cooking at my house.
Not just the recipes - but the whole plan.
Every meal in this series will include:
A complete menu for four
One easy shopping list
A make-ahead prep plan
This month’s menu is inspired by Asian flavors with dishes that balance savory, creamy, tangy and crisp in every bite. Almost everything can be prepared the day before, making Sunday dinner feel relaxed instead of rushed.
A real Lightbulb Moment
Lighting changes everything.
It can make a room feel cozy or cold, energetic or relaxing, polished or unfinished. And yet - standing in the lightbulb aisle can feel like decoding a foreign language.
Soft white? Daylight? Lumens? Watts? Warm glow?
Why is buying a lightbulb suddenly this complicated?

I remember when I was in my twenties, I set a goal that one day I would have fresh flowers in every room in my house. That’s never really come to pass. But this summer, I hope to change all that.
