Thanksgiving at Coppin’s
I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner, but I also appreciate having options. Maybe you want to make the turkey and leave dessert to a professional baker. Maybe you'd rather order the entire meal and concentrate on setting a beautiful table. Or maybe you'd prefer to go out and let someone else handle the cooking and cleanup.
Fortunately, we have some terrific local options.
Here's where to find a little help with Thanksgiving this year.
Let Someone Else Bake the Pies and Rolls
Divine dinner rolls!
What’ll it be? Pecan pie, chess pie, apple crumble, caramel apple, pumpkin, sweet potato, key lime or banana cream pie?
More pie perfection: Pumpkin with bourbon caramel and pecans, spiced apple, sweet potato with tomato jam, and mixed berry and thyme.
My tip: Order your pies and rolls early. Holiday pickup schedules fill quickly, and some bakeries have firm preorder deadlines.
Thanksgiving Dinner, Ready to Serve
If you'd like to skip some or all of the cooking, these local businesses can help put Thanksgiving dinner on the table.
Eat Well Celebrations & Feasts
Chef Renée Schuler and her team offer a Classic Turkey Dinner Bundle, listed at $164, along with individual Thanksgiving dishes.
It's a wonderful option whether you want the entire meal or just a little help with the sides.
Pickup and delivery are scheduled for November 25.
Offering a traditional turkey dinner listed at $24 per person, with optional sides and desserts.
A convenient choice if you'd like a classic Thanksgiving meal without preparing everything yourself.
If you enjoy smoked meats, this is a fun alternative to the traditional roasted turkey.
Thanksgiving packages are available for groups of 4–6 or 8–10, with pickup scheduled for November 25.
My tip: Before ordering a Thanksgiving dinner to go, find out whether your meal arrives hot or chilled, how much reheating is required, and whether gravy, rolls and dessert are included. A little planning will make Thanksgiving Day much easier.
Prefer to Go Out for Thanksgiving?
There's a lot to be said for enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, lingering over dessert and heading home to a clean kitchen. (A clean kitchen? Thankful!)

Make Your Reservations Early
I had dinner out for Thanksgiving a few years ago and I was shocked by how busy the restaurant was- and how many people I knew that were also out for dinner. Clearly, Thanksgiving is a popular day for dining out, and reservations fill quickly.
Before booking, confirm the holiday menu, pricing, seating times and cancellation policy. Some restaurants offer a fixed Thanksgiving menu rather than their regular selections.
And wherever you decide to celebrate, enjoy the pleasure of having someone else do the dishes!
Menus, prices and availability are subject to change. Please confirm details directly with each restaurant.
A Little of This, a Little of That
You don't have to choose between making everything and making nothing.
Roast your own turkey and order the sides. Make your grandmother's stuffing and buy dessert. Prepare the dishes you love, and let someone else handle the rest.
There's plenty of room for tradition and convenience at the same Thanksgiving table.
Whatever you decide, leave yourself some time to enjoy the holiday.
Happy Thanksgiving!
