Crush Hour: A Valentine’s Day Love Potion

Profess your love with a subtly earthy jewel toned potion.

Makes one drink

2 ounces vodka

1 ounce beet juice

1/2 ounce tart cherry juice (unsweetened if possible)

1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

1/2 ounce vanilla simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water with splash of vanilla)

2 dashes orange bitters

Garnish: cherry or lemon twist

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake briskly. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a cherry or lemon twist.
