Joy brought bourbon. Funny. Bourbon usually brings joy.
Joy Perrine, bar manager at Equus Restaurant and Jack’s Lounge in Louisville since 1987, was named best bartender in Louisville by Louisville Magazine and has won numerous awards for her cocktails. This one took 3rd at the Woodford Reserve Infusion Contest, 2007/ Joy shook things up at EQ recently when she prepared her award winning drink.
Directions
Combine, shake over ice and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a red cherry (no stem) dropped into the drink and a pineapple wedge on the rim. Or you can serve in a tall glass with the same garnish.
For the hot version, shake other ingredients without ice and add pineapple juice warmed in a heat-proof glass mug. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
