Thanksgiving Dessert Buffet Ideas
The turkey may take top billing, but for many of us, Thanksgiving is all about dessert! It’s so hard to choose just one! Why not create a dessert buffet for guests to help themselves after dinner?
For an enticing sweets table, place boxes of varying heights in a gently curving arch, then top with a tablecloth.
Place dessert platters and trays on and around each box, then scatter individually wrapped chocolates throughout the display.
Add color and whimsy by adding apothecary jars filled with seasonal candies and a “help yourself” spoon or scoop.
Keep portions small so your family and friends can try more than one dessert. Here’s a recipe to try: Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Bites. Sweet and salty and chocolate dipped….and just a bite so you can indulge in more than one.
For those who didn’t save room, fill cellophane bags with the candies and tie with autumn colored ribbon for a sweet take-home treat. Tie on a tag that simply says, “Thanks”.
