Sweet Heat Molasses Glazed Meatballs
These are utterly addicting! Serve them with pretzel sticks for skewering or turn them in to cocktail size meatball sliders.
In a large heavy pot, combine everything but the meatballs; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Add the meatballs and simmer until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Insert a pretzel stick into each meatball for serving, if desired.
1-2 pounds frozen, pre-cooked cocktail meatballs
1 cup robust molasses
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup water
Small pretzel sticks for skewering
