Strawberry Coffee Cake with Peanut Butter Streusel
On Mother’s Day, kids of all ages show their Moms how much they care. Sometimes the littler ones need a bit of help to get all that goodness done. It’s a good idea to keep their gestures simple and let them do as much they can.
Let them select and then hand-deliver a single flower, a bright balloon or a box of chocolate to the day’s honoree.
You can help small kids write a message and place it in a small picture frame. Whether they’re words of love, gratitude or random musings, they’ll mean the world to Mom, especially as she looks back at them in years to come.
They can make the message a sweet one if you place melted chocolate in a Ziploc bag. Snip off one corner and then let the kids pipe a simple message of love around the rim of Mom’s dessert plate.
They can show Mom how much they care when they help make – and clean up after- this simple Strawberry Coffeecake with Peanut Butter Streusel. You can find this recipe and more family friendly ideas at Jif.com
