Sangria
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 24 hours
With its deep red color, it’s no surprise that Sangria’s name stems from the Spanish word for “blood”. It’s typically made with red wine, liqueur and brandy or cognac, fruit juices, soda and sliced fruit. It’s the perfect pairing with tapas. Make it at least a day ahead so that the flavors develop. Try adding other fruits like pineapple, peaches and grapes. You can also make Sangría blanco with white wine. Either variation makes a great drink on a hot summer day. Cheers!
