Peanut Butter Cookies from MacMurray Ranch

Cook Time: 10-12 minutes per batch

It was really cool to chat with Kate MacMurray, daughter of the late actor Fred MacMurray, about life at the family’s winery. She shared the family recipe for Peanut Butter Cookies.

Directions

Cream the butter together with the peanut butter, then add the egg and sugar and continue to cream thoroughly. Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together, and add to the creamed mixture. Make it into a roll and chill. Cut into slices and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

What's Needed:

½ cup of butter
½ cup of peanut butter
½ cup of white granulated sugar
½ cup of brown sugar
1 ¼ cup of sifted flour
¼ tps. of salt
¾ tps. of baking soda
½ tps. of baking powder
1 egg
