Inspired Idea: Ice Cream Balls

For a nearly instant dessert, take one large, perfectly formed scoop of ice cream and……

Roll it in chopped pecans

Roll it in chopped peanuts

Roll it in sliced almonds

Roll it in chopped pistachios

Roll it in toasted coconut

Roll it in Oreo crumbs

Roll it in colored sprinkles

Drizzle the ice cream with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, raspberry sauce….you get the idea.

I like to make smaller ice cream (or sorbet, or gelato)  balls and serve a trio of assorted flavors.

Or, make tiny ones and insert small spoons for nearly guilt-free bites.
