Cranberry Liqueur
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 2 weeks
Here’s a great gift that’s so easy to make! Add a simple sugar syrup and crushed cranberries to vodka. Strain it. Bottle it. Give it. Drink it. Cheers!
Directions
In a medium saucepan combine sugar and water; cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; cool.
Process cranberries in a food processor until finely chopped.
In a large glass jar with a lid combine the cranberries and sugar mixture; stir in vodka. Seal with lid. Let stand 2 weeks, shaking occasionally. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve; discard cranberries.
Pour liqueur into clean bottles or jars.
