Prep Time: 30 minutes
Pasta Salad is one of the staples of summer. It can be totally budget friendly or completely decadent, depending on what you add to it. Here are the basic ingredients for a fool proof pasta salad:
Of course you start with Pasta. Whether shaped, colored, tubular or flavored, there are lots to choose from.
Next come vegetables. Anything goes here, but it’s best to go seasonal and fresh. Carrots, celery, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, onions, celery, cucumber, bell peppers are all great places to start.
Add proteins such as cheese, chicken, seafood, or salami.
Dress it all with your favorite creamy or vinaigrette dressing and season with garlic, salt, pepper, herbs and spices.
