Beehive Tarts with Buttercream Bees and Meringue Hives

We made these cute little tarts for the pre-show event at Playhouse in the Park last night. Fun event! Fun show! Those ladies of Beehive can really sing.

The tarts begin with my Tiny Lemon Tarts which we topped with meringue “hives” (thank you Jay Dickerson) and lemon buttercream “bees” with chocolate stripes and almond wings.
