Wishes Fulfilled with Dr. Wayne Dyer
“When you change the way you look at things, what you look at begins to change”
Dr. Wayne Dyer
I can’t begin to tell you how important Dr. Wayne Dyer’s books are to me, so you can imagine what a thrill it was to me to have him on my show!
Dr. Dyer is an internationally renowned author and speaker in the field of self-development. He’s the author of over 30 books, has created many audio programs and videos, and has appeared on thousands of television and radio shows. He’ s affectionately called the “father of motivation” by his fans. Despite his childhood spent in orphanages and foster homes, Dr. Dyer has overcome many obstacles to make his dreams come true. Today he spends much of his time showing others how to do the same.
Many of his books, including Manifest Your Destiny, Wisdom of the Ages and the New York Times bestsellers 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace, The Power of Intention and now Wishes Fulfilled have all been featured as National Public Television specials.
Dr. Dyer holds a Doctorate in Educational Counseling from Wayne State University and was an associate professor at St. John’s University in New York. When he’s not traveling the globe delivering his uplifting message, Wayne is writing from his home in Maui.
His latest book, Wishes Fulfilled, delivers the message that it is possible for every person to live an extraordinary life. What’s more, it is possible for every person to manifest their deepest desires — if they honor their inner divinity, consciously choose to live from their “Highest Self,” and practice the steps outlined in his book.
He gave this simple way for all of us to radically change our lives, starting tonight. Dr. Dyer calls this exercise “now I lay me down to sleep” . Wayne explained that our subconscious mind controls us. It’s how we can do habitual things like brush our teeth or drive to work without having to think about it. But we also let negative thoughts permeate our subconscious, and they control us , too. Dr. Dyer suggests that tonight, when you get ready to go to sleep, you can reprogram your subconscious mind. What you think about before you fall to sleep “marinates” in your mind for the hours that you sleep.
Don’t think about unhappiness or who disappointed you or what you don’t like, instead place positive thoughts into your imagination (Dr. Dyer suggests the “I am” discourse: I am well, I am perfect health, I am in a great relationship) and repeat them over and over and over again. While you’re sleeping, you’re programming your mind. You’ll begin to notice that your experiences match up to your subconscious mind. Try it. You just might be amazed.
