Pink Kisses: discovering your inner bombshell
Let’s face it, break ups suck.
The new website Pink Kisses states this as their mission: To help women forget their ex and find their inner bombshell. We’re an online community offering goodies, advice & support to help girls get real, get over it & reinvent themselves. We help by taking focus off the ex and put it squarely where it belongs: on creating a new reality for her that has absolutely nothing to do with him. Our goal? To help you get over any guy faster and stronger than ever before.
Pink Kisses began, of course, with a breakup. Founder & former television reporter Ellie Scarborough tells it in her own words:
“He ended it over the phone. There was something distinctly final in his tone. And yet, I still hoped that he would come back to fight for me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and we would live happily ever after. But the rest of my brain knew the fairy tale wasn’t possible with him. He wasn’t coming back; he was choosing not to call. That’s what made it so hard. I was a strong, smart woman with everything to live for, and yet most days it was all I could do to get out of bed. A month or so after that final phone call, I decided to take charge and do something. I sent myself the damn flowers he never brought me on his knees. I had the most beautiful blooms sent to my office and I wrote the card myself:
“Girl, you are way too good for some guy who won’t even send you these.
Don’t waste another tear on him.”
The flowers got me smiling, but they did something more. Taking that tiny little action got me moving in a whole new direction, and it got me thinking about other ways to encourage and inspire girls going through the same thing. That’s how Pink Kisses was born. I wanted to give us all a way to help each other – and help ourselves – when we’re stuck in the trenches.”
