They help autistic children regain a sense of calm and independence, they comfort the sick, and they bring joy and acceptance to many.  Rachel McPherson, author of Every Dog has a Gift joined me on Amy’s Table today. Rachel is the Founder and executive director of The Good Dog Foundation*,  an animal-assisted therapy organization on the East Coast, and she  has heard and witnessed these extraordinary stories and more.
