I’m judging costumes at the Polar Bear Plunge
Prepare to Get Your Plunge On with Q102 and FOX 19 at the 2011 Kentucky-Ohio Polar Plunge! It’s back and we need you to help make it bigger and better than ever.
Join Q102 on Saturday, February 5 at Joe’s Crab Shack – Bellevue.
The Plunge is like a walk-a-thon, but with one twist — instead of walking, Polar Bears take a chilly dip in pool at Joe’s Crab Shack! Participants still gather donations (a BARE minimum of $75 to take part and $50 minimum for ages 6 to 18) and the Special Olympics needs your help more than ever.
You can plunge on your own or form your team and prepare to be “Freezin’ for a Reason!”
There will be great food and prizes for the largest groups and top fundraisers. One Polar Bear could win a Carnival Cruise for two from AAA Travel and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Get more information here and sign up! Last year, the Polar Plunge raised a record $124,000 to support the efforts of Special Olympics athletes in Kentucky and Ohio.
